To Kill a Mockingbird Discussion Forum...

Hey guys,

I spoke to some of your peers, and they all believe that opening a discussion forum up for the novel study would be a great idea. In this forum, you can ask questions among yourselves, or to me. I have selected Danish and Payam to lead this out because in the past they have done extremely well with helping you with your quesitons or concerns regarding class assignments. While I want this space to be for the students to discuss things, I will still come here if you need me to.

Have a great time reading and discussing the text. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did when I was your age.

Take care,

Mrs. Glenn

Beowulf

Hey guys,

I'm sorry I can't be at school on Friday, but I wanted to give you something to help us with our introduction to Beowulf for next week. If you look in the groups drive in the assignments folder, there is a PDF about Anglo Saxon's that I'd like for you to save to your flash drive or your computer and take home to read. On Monday, we'll have an activity that goes along with it, and I want to make sure you're well prepared.

If you're reading this, and a friend of yours may not be, please pass the word along for me.

I'll post the student presenters for November current events, and Tuesday presentations my homepage this weekend. If you have questions, comment here so that I can try to help you. Best wishes on your test!!

WordMasters...

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know that I'd like you to type your sentences for WordMasters. This will make it easy to send them to my inbox next Wednesday. Don't forget to use complex or compound sentences that provide complex clues. I don't want any simple sentences. If you have questions, post them here. Thanks,

Mrs. Glenn
