One Ordinary Day with Peanuts


Hey GSMST students,


I hope you enjoyed reading the story, and finding out about that interesting ending. I guess some people just have nothing else in life to do. LOL Anyway, your assignment will come from the text on pages 432, and 433. Please complete Activity #2 "Grammar Lesson, and you may select from #4 Extension Activities. There are two, so please only select one...either the "Listening and Speaking" or the "Research and Technology". This will be due on Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Please post a comment here to let me know which extension activity you will choose. Happy writing!! :)

    The story really was a mite quirky, which made it all the better. :D

    I think I may do the "Listening and Speaking" extension since I'm something too awful of a writer to do the research report.

    Hey Mrs.Glenn, I am going to do Research an Tecnology, and just to clarify from what I read on the comments above we do not have to do this activity by ourselves. Also do we need to site our sources (the encyclopedias we used). Also does the research report have to have the questions on the top. What is the format?

    Thanks for writing and letting me know your selections. Let me clarify some things. First of all, even though the book says group, you need to do it solo. Second, please site any source you use. Third, all I need is a one-page typed response that's double spaced. I hope this clears things up for you.

    LLLOOOLLL!! You guys are hilarious!! Okay, I will try to clear up everything for you. First of all, everything needs to be typed. Do the grammar part and one of the extention activities. If you are doing the Monologue, just space it so that it looks neat, and that we can tell who's speaking. If you are doing the research and technology part, it needs to be one page double-spaced. Save your work to your computer or your USB so that you can send it to my inbox at school tomorrow. You will not be printing it, I will print it when I grade them. Make sure your name, date and class period are on the assignment. If you are doing the monologue, you will not have to present it, so don't worry. Thanks for writing guys. See you in class on Tuesday.

    @Nizar: Be creative. I didn't say it had to be in MS Word. One could make circles in MSPowerPoint. Also, you can use colors and tell me what's what. Be creative, and get it done. Toodles,
