Poetry Portfolio Update

Hi guys,

While trying to go in and grade the Poetry Portfolios, I have come across a problem. Turnitin.com is not letting me click on your link. It thinks I'm editing your paper, and will only let me insert a comment. Please resubmit your portfolio links in the Word document to my inbox as soon as you can. I will even accept any student who missed the deadline to submit it. Do this by Friday afternoon before you go home, so that I can grade them over the weekend. Thanks. BTW, tell everyone and anyone who may not read the blog or check the calendar as often as you do.

Poetry Unit Exam

Hi Students,

Don't forget to send me a poetry question to include in the exam for our formative assessment. All you have to do is use any of your handouts, any poem we've read in class, or any of the poetry vocabulary to create up to 3 multiple choice questions (with answers). Please send your questions to shenikaglenn@gmail.com if you'd like me to use your question.

Remember that we are using the CPS, so the questions have to be in multiple choice format.

Poem Recital...

Hey Guys,

Use this space to post what poem from your text that you are going to present next week. Don't forget that it has to have at least 5 stanzas. Make sure you tell me the name of the poem, and the poet here. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.
