WordMasters...

Hey guys,

I just wanted to let you know that I'd like you to type your sentences for WordMasters. This will make it easy to send them to my inbox next Wednesday. Don't forget to use complex or compound sentences that provide complex clues. I don't want any simple sentences. If you have questions, post them here. Thanks,

Mrs. Glenn

  1. Hi Mrs. Glenn,
Do you want us to highlight the wordmaster words that we've used, to make it easier for you to see?
And can we use more than 1 word in a sentence?
    Thanks!

  3. What are modern associations? My group is stuck on that.

  4. @ Najee: Modern Associations are the new products that your country has made that are applied in the real world, globally. For example, for my country, a modern association would be robots, wii and so on so forth.

  6. Mrs. Glenn, I wanted to say thank you for your support for the culture project, and I also had a question. The question, is that would you like for us to write one sentence, or more than one sentence for the wordmasters? Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!!

P.S. My group really appreciates it and thank you again!:)

  7. @ Navjot: It is only one sentence to all of the words, but they have to be for all of the definitions= multiple meaning words.

  10. What?!?! We have to type everything over again :o... It doesn't say anything like that in her descriptions.. -_-. I'm confused everytime I get here. What is the modern associtations thing for? What is a complex clue?

  11. i think you are only supposed to type the sntences using a variety of different sentences.

  12. But i already wrote the sentences like the ones we did in class that had lik the word describing someone or something and then another trait/event that would imply the meaning of the word. Did i do it wrong? And do i have to retype them? and amen to David, I'm so confused now.

  19. Hey guys,

I'm just getting a chance to get online, I had a very busy weekend. I'll try to answer some of your questions. Okay, YES, I do want you to type your sentences...it says it in the message of this blog. If already hand-wrote them, that's nice, I still want them typed so you can turn them in to my inbox. You still have time until Wednesday. "Complex clues" is a typo...it's supposed to be "Context Clues". You can include two words in one sentence if you'd like. I like the highlighting idea too. It'll be in a word document, so underlining or making the word italics is also good. Thanks for complimenting my pics, I try to keep them as nice and as some of your cool wallpapers on your laptops!!! BTW, the culture day was AWESOME!! I'm going to post my pictures soon. See you guys tomorrow,

    Mrs. G.

  21. Hey, I think that Ms. Glenn got the page number wrong. The literary analysis starts on page 1018. The first reveiw and asses atarts on 1017. This is the one that you have to do all of the questions for. Correct me if Im wrong. ^_^

  23. Guys it is Page 1018 not page 1017.

Please do not do pg. 1017

Do page 1018 for review and asses.
