Use this space to post what poem from your text that you are going to present next week. Don't forget that it has to have at least 5 stanzas. Make sure you tell me the name of the poem, and the poet here. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hey Aimee, The Langston Hughes' poem was called Dream Deferred, and the Paul Lawrence Dunbar poem was called Sympathy, it preceeded Maya Angelou's poem in the textbook. Hope this helps.

ReplyDeleteI would like to do "Fifteen" by William Stafford, but I don't know if you would consider the last sentence to be a stanza or not, since a stanza usually contains four or more lines, so if its not then my other choice is "Gift" by Shu Ting.

ReplyDelete@ Rachel - It should work on Windows Media Player. It is an MP3 file right? To play it, right click the file and select "Open With." Then choose Windows Media Player from the Program list. It should be albe to play then..
ReplyDelete@Rachel and Kevin: iTunes songs arent mp3 format, they're m4p, and windows media player doesnt support m4p's. i'd recomend using VLC, just google it.
