Welcome Back!!!
Welcome back to the second semester of your freshman year here at GSMST!! You all worked very hard last semester, and I am very proud of you. It has been an amazing adventure, and I look forward to the new and exciting things in store for us this semester.
Stay focused, and keep working hard...believe me, it will all pay off. Hey what are some of your goals for this semester? Share them with me in a comment for extra points of this week's quiz.

Hey Mrs.Glenn!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Years!
I only have 2 goals (for now):
1. Try harder in Physics, and concentrate on what ia m doing.
2. Excercise for an hour every day and get rid of the skininess xD .
Hi, Mrs. Glenn some goals I have for the semster are to get really high A's in all my classes and not to procrastinate on any of my work, well atleast not too much.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! :)
ReplyDeleteMy goals for this year is to do my "browines" in a condensed time at home so I can read and excersice more often and of course, try my best to get all A's. In Language Arts, I want to master as many vocabulary as possible by learning new Greek and Latin words, reading short stories, and more!
-Stephanie Moon
Happy New Year Mrs. Glenn!!
ReplyDeleteI have plenty of goals which I might not be able to fulfill but will try my hardest doing. My first goal is to create a schedule for me to follow so that I can complete a pile of "candy" within a small amount of time and as a result I will get more work done in a short amount and will be able to do what ever my heart desires to do. My second goal is to get more healthier ;). Finally, my third goal is to earn all A's this semester!! I hope that I have the capability to achieve all of my goals this year because they are really important to me for my future to be bright!!!! Thank you!!!!!
Happy New Year!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMS. Glenn,
my goals are to try and get all A's this semester
and work harder in physics.. :)
Great job everyone!! I wish you all the best in your efforts at achieving these goals. Remember its okay if you don't fulfill them all, but rather that you do try. In the end, you might surprise yourself at what you've accomplished.
ReplyDelete@Danish, I'm going to hold you to that procrastination thing...especially in Math. Remember it's an assassin in disguise!!
Thanks for sharing!! Keep them coming!!
Mrs. Glenn
My goals are just to not fall on my face! =) I hope to work hard in every subject (which means get straight A's) and find some more time to read books because I used to be such a book worm and now I'm not!
ReplyDelete-Stephanie Diaz
Sounds good Stephanie!! You can do it. Just do things in chunks...also try books on CD, and downloading them to your MP3Player. I do that sometimes so that I can read and exercise, or do laundry all at the same time!! :)
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to try to avoid getting distracted while doing my homework. Last semester, I would get on gmail and chat with my friends, which would distract me a lot. Specifically: I'm going to come home, start homework and take 15 minute break every hour.
ReplyDeleteAnother goal is to stop being late!
And my last one is to start eating healthier and excercising and other stuff that i'm supposed to do. :)
-This is Diana... or is it?- My goals
ReplyDelete1- dont stress so much over school stuff (be less of a nerd)
2- (not in agreement with goal 1) get A's in all my classes and high A's in the easy classes
3- Take less time on homework- start homework at a reasonable hour (i just started) and stop researching random topics!
I aim to pass all of my classes. I would also like to try a new type of cheese sometime this year.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Ms. Glenn!
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of goals but my main goal is to pass all of my classes with good grades and to do all of my homework. Another goal is to have a better attitude towards life and be nicer to people.
My goal is to not procrastinate on assignments and get straight A's.
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteMy goals this year pretty generic. Make better grades than last semester, less procrastination of projects and school assignments, and make sure I underdstand the topics I'm learning in school. A more personal goal is to eat less junk foods in health class and be more productive with time.

Happy new year guys! My goals this year are to have a daily scheduale of exercising so that I wont get tired when I play lacrosse. Also I hope I want to get my homework done faster (which dosent mean sloppy job but more of no distractions while I do it). I hope to get straight-A's again but most of all I want to hang out with my friends more (even if it is just is "study session" for an hour or two).
ReplyDeleteHappy Late New Years Guys!!!!!!! Anyway my goals for the new years is to have all As in all my classes and also to not get fat.
ReplyDeleteMy goal is to get 5 A's through more studying for tests and quizzes and actually do my homework and try while performing this action.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteFor my goals, I'd like to try to focus on my work.I tend to get sidetracked a bit more than I should, which results in a load of candies(homework) that I need to stay up all night to finish. Most importantly, I think I need to work hard ALL semester, no matter how much the summer sun calls me >_>.
Oh, and I forgot about sleeping more. That's important, too.
Happy birthday Mrs. Glenn!!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Mrs. Glenn (SHE told us AWHILE ago people...)
ReplyDeleteMy goals are to raise each of my grades a little bit (higher A's), strat my various sweets earlier (therefore finishing earlier, and getting some more sleep), spending more time with people not at GSMST (not that I don't like y'all). There is probably some more, but i shall not bore you anymore...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mrs. Glenn!!! :D
ReplyDeleteMy goals for 2010 is to get better grades and raise my GPA. I also want to start stretching so I can grow taller. Also, I want to speak up more in class and work harder this semester. ReplyDelete- Kevin Bang (1st Period)
Hey Ms. Glenn! I am very excited to be in your class this semester! My goal for the new year is to be more organized when it comes to my notes, labs , and pieces of writings for classes. I've already bought composition books and folders for each class to help with my organization. Hopefully, becoming more organized can help me reach another goal of keeping high A's throughout this semester.
ReplyDelete-Bahar Jalalian
My goal for 2010 is to try harder at school in order to get all A's. Hopefully, that will keep my mom from getting angry... :)
ReplyDelete-Royce Kim (1st Period)
Hola,

i have a lot of academic goals for this year, like keeping my a's and bumping the rest up to a's or b's.

i want to do better with my grades, hopefully get all As, and get into the top 20 for my class rank. i also need to somehow please my parents through grades and they dont get mad
ReplyDelete-michael rayalu

ReplyDeletehola,
ReplyDeletemy goals this year are to not get angry at by brotherand to get a's and b's
My goals are to get no C's in any class, and to do my best in all of my classes.
ReplyDeleteOkay, this concludes the entries. Thanks to everyone for sharing. I guess that it's only fitting that I share my goals as well. Okay, I would like get better at essay submision turn-around. I have a hard time getting those graded and back in a timely fashion. I also want to make sure that I listen to your concerns, and act on them with the help of my SAT (Student Assistant Team). I would also like to be better at updating the calendar each night so everyone (even absent students and parents) can always know what we've done in class. personally, I'd like to shed about 30 more pounds. I did reach that goal last year, and I hope to do it again this year. I would also like to make better use of my spare time, and cook more instead of eating cereal when I get lazy. LOL
ReplyDeleteOkay, let's check back later this semester at around midpoint to see our progress so far.
Until then, best wishes,
Mrs. Glenn :-)
