Final Drafts


Hey guys,


Now is the time to post which essay topic you are going to select for your final draft. Don't forget that this is now a "major grade", and it's worth 40%. I suggest having it severely editied by one of your former LA teachers, or someone you trust. Unfortunately, I can't edit them for you because I'm giving the final grade. Post here, which essay topic you've selected. They are due Thursday, September 10, 2009. Happy writing!!

    Ms.Glenn, I believe I'll do the emphasis on grades essay. I don't think I'll be able to get a former LA teacher to edit it, but I might be able to get my mom, who is a Literacy Collaborative teacher, to edit it. Btw, we missed you on Friday~!

    Hey guys,
    Thanks for chiming in. I've made note of all of you who responded. BTW, to answer some of the questions above, I put the next story (the one that should have been read over this weekend) on the actual website. It was "The Machine that Won the War". Having your essay edited by anyone is a great idea before submission. Jeremy, it's okay to have your mom do it. If you guys send it as an attachment to any of your old LA teachers to their email, I'm sure they can help...if you don't wait til the last minute of course. Hope this helps,
